Expert UGW Conference and Grand Ukrainian Gaming Week 2021 Exhibition: Program, Valid Dates and Venue

To meet the needs of representatives of the gambling community, Smile-Expo international company decided to update the format of the Ukrainian Gaming Week 2021 gambling event. Instead of one event, we’re organizing two separate ones – a conference and an exhibition.

UGW conference: features and program

The conference will take place on February 24 at Premier Palace Hotel. This is a unique event, where famous experts will give comprehensive answers to questions about the specifics of running a gambling business in the legal field. Event will unite legislators, industry leaders and everyone interested in reviving the Ukrainian gambling market.

Event program features informative presentations, panel discussion and productive networking. Speakers include representatives of the Verkhovna Rada and the gambling regulator, members of specialized associations, Ukrainian and foreign experts of various profiles. They will share expert opinion and answer guests' questions.

List of speakers will feature:

• Ivan Rudyi – Chairman of the Commission for Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries.
• Taras Tarasenko – People's Deputy of Ukraine of the 9th session, a member of the Servant of the People faction.
• Marian Zablotskyi – Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, representative of the Servant of the People faction.
• Ilya Machavariani – Senior Partner at 4H consulting agency.
• Anton Kuchukhidze – Head of the Gambling Association of Ukraine.

Experts will talk about reforming of the gambling market in Ukraine, assess the main provisions of the legislation on the legalization of gambling and analyze the restrictions in the field of gambling advertising. They will present an anti-crisis strategy for bookmakers and explain whether principles of responsible gambling will change in the future. Speakers will give examples of innovative technologies that could help operators, as well as cover other topics.

Ukrainian Gaming Week 2021 exhibition: features and program

Due to the high spread of COVID-19 and the emergence of new forms of coronavirus in different countries of the world, quarantine continues to stay in force. Today, various restrictions have been introduced in the UK, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Portugal and other states.

Ukrainian Gaming Week 2021 exhibition will be the largest specialized event after the legalization of the gambling business. The event is intended to bring together representatives of the gambling industry from all over the world. However, due to the quarantine, some countries impose restrictions on border crossing. For this reason, exhibitors from the overseas and guests may find it difficult to fly internationally. Therefore, they will not have the opportunity to come to Ukraine on the dates previously announced for the exhibition. With this in mind, under current conditions, event cannot be held on the scale it was originally planned.

After analyzing the situation in different countries of the world and taking into account the current circumstances, our team decided to reschedule Ukrainian Gaming Week to the spring of 2021.

Exhibition will take place on March 23-24.

And to give even more companies a chance to join the event, a new location has been chosen to host the event: KyivExpoPlaza.

Activities at the event

Ukrainian Gaming Week 2021 program will include exhibition, open lecture zone, UGW Awards and afterparty.

At this specialized event, Ukrainian and foreign companies of various sizes and directions will present the best solutions for the gambling industry. Exhibitors will include providers of gambling equipment, software and gambling content developers, distributors, banks, developers of platforms for online casinos, suppliers of furniture for gambling venues and many others. Visitors will be able to check out the available products and consult with company representatives.

Experts in the field of launching, developing, promoting and scaling gambling business on different markets will speak at the open lecture zone. They will also present new products, analyze practical cases and discuss issues that are relevant for the industry. All event visitors will have access to the lecture zone.

As part of the exhibition, UGW Awards will determine the winners at the prestigious ceremony. Awards will be given to companies that have demonstrated the maximum growth and achieved great success in their operations. They will be awarded at the afterparty that will take place in a closed format.
