Details of Obtaining a Permit for Premises Running a Gambling Business: Documentation and Procedure

On February 2, the official website of the Commission for Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries (CRGL) published clarifications regarding the process of submitting documents for obtaining a permit confirming that the premises for running a gambling business meet all the requirements of gambling legislation.
The regulator explained that during submitting of an application and/or cover letter, potential operators must indicate the name of the authorized body receiving the documents, namely: the Commission for Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries.

The gambling regulator also explained that application and document require information on the total area, floor and room number where the operator plans to organize and conduct gambling.
A copy of the data sheet must be readable. Only in case such conditions are met, CRGL will be able to verify the data and confirm that premises are compliant with the requirements of the law regulating gambling business
On February 3, the Commission announced on its resource that it made a decision to issue a license to SPASIX LLC for conducting online casino games. This is the first positive decision of the regulator since the date resolution on the approval of licensing conditions entered into force.
